Come on Feel the Illinoise

So sometimes I forget that Trish and Jamie live in Chicago, which just so happens to be in Illinois, not Michigan. I mostly associate Trish with being an "Ex-Kalamazoo Gal" and Jamie with being her gal in turn. This post is for my favorite ladies in Illinois. I forgot to mention you in my last post and it was entirely unintentional, especially since Trish is the one who is constanatly on my back to write in this----"Bia, what's with no blogs? I need to know what's going on in your life."

So Trish and Jamie for you:

Thank you for being the only people I know who can use the terms "bia," "whateves" and "nast" without looking/sounding like monkeys. Thank you for being the only ladies I know who created an online magazine because they saw a need in the Chicago scene and did something about it rather than just bitching and moaning about it. Thank you for letting me sleep on your foutons/beds and then taking me all over the city just so I can be a fat kid at eat the Alaskan at the Golden Nugget. And mostly, thank you for being a friend....cue the Golden Girls theme music!
