Kalamazoo

Today it felt like spring here. The sky was grayish blue, the air had no edge of chill and there was a slight feeling of heaviness all around, like dew was always ready to form on the tips of your fingers. The weather made me think of parks and porches and waltzing around the Vine Street Neighborhood. The weather made me miss Kalamazoo.

Oh Kalamazoo, this was the last time I visited you, for Alison and David's wedding. I want to come back for a bbq, a random weekend would be nice but I don't have a car and I just don't know when the next time will be so until then, I'll miss the little things like bike rides, first moped rides, cups of coffee at 4th Coast at 3am and porch parties.

maybe if i can't make it to germany for my spring break (early april) we'll go invade kzoo for a few days.

Stuff like that doesnt happen as much around here now that youre gone..
