Outside of the Box

I'm currently at a point in my life where I hate my job. Even though I enjoy most of the people I work with, I just can't get beyond the idea of working only to help a corporation or business make money. I have joined idealist.org and I am vigorously looking for new options.
It's tough to my newly acquired insurance cards and new bonus initiative plans and then hop online and look for a new job but the soul comes first, and I know I can't keep working here, no matter how great the people are to me. I need to feel a little better about what my efforts are helping and there are plenty of people and places that could use my two hands for more than just making money.
Sunday afternoons are good for a little soul searching.
