The Face of the Earth...

Now that's a sad story right there...

No, I haven't fallen off of it, it's just been a little nuts lately. Since August life has been all over the place. I went to Michigan to visit family and friends for 2 1/2 weeks, returned to a new job and getting surgery on my wrist. A week later I moved out of my apartment and onto the couch of my dear friends Arizona, Rachel and Dalice. Just two days ago I found out that I am going to be moving into an apartment a mere 4 doorsteps away from the couch where I'm currently staying. It is also just a few blocks away from my best friend and a few more blocks away from four of my other very close friends. Basically, it's really exciting but at the same time I have to move my things again and am still in a wrist brace from the surgery and also on theatre schedule so it's still bonkers here in MandaMcK world.
A quick rundown of random things in my life in the last six weeks...

I have slept on a fouton and considered it my bed for a month

Jay, the winner of season one project runway, lives across the street and he painted my nails last week

I have a screw in my wrist that will NEVER be removed

I had a 3' 6" old woman shake her cane at me and cuss me out at work because she was late to the show and I was doing my job

I have been living with a cat that salivates when he's happy

People I did not know played strip poker at the kitchen table that is a mere 8 feet from the fouton I call my bed

I experienced my first opening night at the theatre as an apprentice

I walked barefoot through South Philadelphia

I thought for a second that dating was a good idea and then remembered I hate dating

I saw Bat For Lashes and they were amazing

Creative writing has re-entered my life

And so I promise to start writing here again as well. Also if you want my new address to send me fun things, please let me know as it has changed since the last letter I wrote you (yes even if I sent that letter out just last week!)
