Can't we all just get along?

I psyched myself up for a meeting today. It took me a good long weekend of thought and preparation. And then the meeting came, lasted 5 minutes and went just like that.
I don't know if things are going to change yet but I feel like the ball is moving forward in a direction of hope.

In other news, Beth and I drank for 12 hours yesterday. It all started with a new morning drink Beth dubbed the McMosa. She mixed white wine, Sprite and orange juice. It was delish. We then went to lunch at Alma de Cuba because she got a free lunch card. They paid for EVERYTHING (appetizer, drinks, entree, dessert). Full and farty, I mean happy, we decided it was time to try drunk shopping. That lasted all of 12 minutes in Urban Outfitters when Beth looked at her watched and said "It's about beer-thirty" and cue the 2 block walk to the Good Dog where we drank many beers and befriended an old guy. We then cabbed it to the grocery store and in our 7pm hella drunk state went back to my place to make spaghetti and watch YouTube before hitting the Heros train at 306 and enjoying a few more gin and tonics.

My head still hurts...I just can't decide if it's work or alcohol related at this point.
Speaking of my head, I'm thinking about cutting the hair on it like this:
