I miss my family. It might be the weather. It might be a really bizarre change in myself recently that has left me feeling distant from everything/one around me and it might be that next week everyone in my family will be in the same household (all 6 of my siblngs, their wives and children and my parents and Aunt Suz) and I will be here---whatever it is, I feel really lonely for them. I am thankful for the family I've made here but I'm straight up old school homesick and it's tough right now.
I spoke with my mom on the phone today.
God, I miss her so much.

i had a pang of homesickness earlier today, too. i think it's the holidays and being closer and closer to going back.
i am so beyond bummed we won't be able to see each other during our times in michigan.
i miss you and i'll probably call you tomorrow or wednesday (i'll have some time, finally! t/y thanksgiving break!)
Family of friends just isn't the same this time of year, is it?
