As I sit in the Other Green Line Cafe finishing up the final touches on a fun little piece about author Ayun Halliday (check her out, she's a true gem of a lady www.ayunhalliday.com) I have also been scanning the front page of the NY Times online. I was amazed to see a front page headline relating to our favorite crazy Australian, The Croc Hunter. He's dead man! Seriously, he was stung by a stingray...in the heart, ick! Anyways, here's the full story and it's Labor Day so I know you are all sitting around getting drunk, at least I am but it's for a story, honest (top 5 best bloody mary's in Philly!) THE CROC MAN GOES DOWN UNDER ...sorry that was a bad bad joke.
Cheers kids. And today it really is finally sunny here in good ole Philadelphia, no thanks to Ernesto's tropical depression antics.

i love ayun halliday! her zine, the east village inky, is so cute! plus, she's a writer at bust and her stuff is hilarious!
anyway. about the croc hunter.. david and i were just talking about how that was the most badass way for him to die. struck through the heart by a STINGRAY?! how appropriate for him! and really... is anyone suprised he went out like that? (i do think it sucks for his two little kids, though)
