Today I got asked to go to a burlesque show. As much as I want to hang out with Deb and her friends, I just can't get myself to go, I think it'd be uncomfortable for me, no matter how much I had to drink. Maybe next time they'll want to go to the bar or to see a band, that's a bit more Amanda Marie style.
I got my second assignment in the arts section today. I'm really excited that I got another assignment from Pat, it makes me think he knows he can rely on me for good print. Nothing like winning over another editor. Don't mind me while I put that feather in my cap.
Tonight I'm going to the bar with Megan. She's a newer intern and took over my "Watering Hole" column and is going to a place that she wants to cover for this week. I'm excited to have another friend to add to my list, yeah that's right, I'm making friends. Nothing like feeling as though it's the first day of kindergarten, but hey, I know how to share and I know how to drink, both seem to help in the making of friends...
I chatted a bit with Beth today. As of this evening I began the official search for an apartment for the two of us to move into after Christmas.
