Christmas!
Working at the theatre I've been surrounded for the past week or so by beautiful ribbons, wreaths, lights and even a beautiful Menorah but my home was lacking a bit in the spirit of the season.
I found a few ornaments that made their way to Philadelphia with me and hung them from my curtain rods and hung Sir Elliot J. Daniels' stocking with care but my room didn't feel complete. Yesterday I purchased a couple strands of lights to hang around my windows because they face the street and last night I put them up. I laid in my bed smiling as I looked at the newly hung lights. There's something warm and candidly joyous about the light that Christmas lights give off. And now as I look outside at the snowflakes gently dancing through the air alongside my lights I can't help but look forward to December 23rd when I get to fly home and see my parents and some of my family. I've been away from them for far too long.

Well atleast you have chose the right colors for christmas lights...someone on my street has neon purple christmas lights and to me that screams "dance party" and not "happy holidays"
